After graduating from Washington State University and Eastern Washington University, Mike entered the Residential Real Estate Business in Spokane, Washington in 1975. In 1980 he relocated to Seattle, Washington and began his Insurance Career with Safeco Insurance Company in the Claims Department becoming the first “Claims Specialist” to be designated by the company. In 1988 he left Safeco Insurance Company to re-establish his Professional Sales Career as an Account Executive with a local Independent Insurance Agency. In 1992 Mike and Margarita opened their own start-up Independent Agency.
Mike is very proud of the consistency and stability he has had in his life as evidenced by the fact he has been married to Margarita for 28 years, lived in the same house, they built, for 26 years and they have been in business together for 20 years. Mike has also held the Certified Insurance Counselor designation for 25 years. This consistency, stability and insurance experience provides Mike with the necessary tools to make informed and sound analysis of available Insurance Products and insure his clients are fully informed on the Insurance Products that he recommends.
